Sarah Walters

Sarah Walters - Our Resident Ceramicist continues to delight with her beautiful gel cards, extraordinary dishes, cups, plates, bells and quirky little critters .. gifts that keep on giving  ... and all are unique, irreplaceable … Prices are marked on each item

Lynn Kelly

It is a great delight to have more of Lynn's beautiful, watery pieces on the walls.  Her works have an uncanny way of projecting the viewer into unexpected dimensions - on the surface, under it and beyond - all happening at once!
Lynn taught Senior Secondary Art and Graphic Design for many years and now, having "retired," and having the time to stretch her own wings as an artist, is producing some truly outstanding work.  We are privileged to have her with us!

Patrick Sutczak

Patrick’s joy in working together is what largely drives us

Chris Morgan

Another of our "driven" artists, Chris' work looks far beneath the surface and provokes the viewer to think and maybe dream and lose themselves in the unexpected...

Tania Glanville

This is Tania’s first appearance on our walls (and we thank The MGG for supporting her in this). An amazing artist, who is well-deservedly respected in Tasmania and further afield, she has also been a much-loved teacher at Senior Secondary level until recent retirement, which has given her more time to surrender to the ever-present inspiration that has always followed her - to just paint

Robyn Harman

A highly respected Hobart-Based Artist and Teacher Robyn, like Tania and Leoni, comes to us courtesy of the Madeline Gordon Gallery and we are delighted to be able to have her beautiful cormorants and their watery paradise on our wall.  Robyn has been a finalist in several major Art Awards and was the winner of The Bay of Fires in 2023!  Enjoy this piece and be aware that a similar work of hers has just sold at the Glover for more than twice the price!

Anne O'Connor

Two Beautiful prints to remind us of Anne's stunning solo show here.  There is a limited number of unframed copies of these two and others by the windows $45 dollars each.  Look out or more from Anne!  It will be here!

Jessica Eastburn

A beautiful Oil by a very talented young artist - Watch this one!!
While holding down a full-time position in the Art Area at Launceston College, much loved and inspirational teacher, Jess, is finding time to not only help with technical issues in this gallery, but also to dedicate to nourishing her own considerable artistic talent.

Joanna Hobman

We’re delighted to welcome Joanna Hobman to Raincoat Gallery for her debut exhibition, showcasing a captivating collection of three stunning prints celebrating Tasmania’s extraordinary wildlife.

Richard Baker

After a spectacularly successful show last time, Richard has kindly lent us all two works from his living room, so that you can have a new opportunity to try and fathom his quirky brain... though these are not for sale, a few A3 paper works ARE ($125 each) and also some Comic books ($25 each)

Robert Ikin

We are pleased to have two more pieces from iconic Robert Ikin whose career as an artist has spanned so many decades and whose works are spread far and wide. Now you have a progressively rarer opportunity to actually acquire one of his unique boxed reliefs works or at least to come and make friends with what is in those boxes!!

Paul Snell

Legendary Tasmanian artist and educator Paul Snell has joined us in solidarity this month.  Enjoy his ephemeral work.
